On Friday, September 13th, the 53rd Olive Festival will take place in Tseri, a village in the Nicosia district. The event will be held at the central square, near the historic Church of Saints Andronikos and Athanasios, with a start time of 8:00 PM.
This festival, first organized in 1969, is the oldest cultural event in Tseri. Initiated by the Tseri Renaissance organization, its main goal is to introduce visitors to the local traditions and olive-based products that have been cultivated in the area for centuries.
