This course provides basic HTML skills and introduces students to the PHP scripting language. This course teaches students about webservers and the process of requesting a response. They will be shown how to install and use the Apache webserver-XAMPP. Apache is the PHP webserver. Students are also shown how the language integrates with HTML, Bootstrap, and how it can manipulate database contents. Ajax is perfectly suited to allow web content to be dynamically generated with JQuery using Ajax. Further, the course focuses on security in PHP web applications.
