Africa's Productivity is in decline. This includes the public sector. Public sector workers are also in decline with millions of them being unemployed.
It has been difficult for governments of most African countries to promote, institutionalize, and institutionalize productivity culture.
The United Nations Development Programme can be used to supplement the efforts of international agencies such as International Labour Organization (ILO), United Nations Conference for Trade and Development, (UNCTAD), Asia Productivity Organization (APO), European Association of National Productivity Centres(EANPC), Pan African Productivity Associationss (PAPA), etc. To be a top-tier productivity center in Africa, the Centre for Public Sector Productivity and Development has been registered as a nongovernmental and non-profit organisation.
Productivity is the heart of Africa's economy. CeProd was created to address this problem.
